Warning from PCT

NHS Berkshire West is aware that there have been a number of incidents locally where patients are contacted by an organisation offering home visits to help arthritis sufferers and trying sell expensive medical equipment. Please alert any patients who you feel may be vulnerable to such unsolicited contact.’ The organisation is calling itself “Release”. The police are investigating and so far have not been able to trace a legitimate company with this name. If you have any information that would help please let me, or DC Sid Langton know.

Thanks, Linda
