New role for pharmacists to aid patients with long-term conditions

The role of pharmacists in the treatment of patients will be increased under a new care scheme launched by [Scottish] Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon.
The chronic medication service will see patients with long-term conditions, such as high pressure or diabetes, being given "care plans" by their pharmacists.  For more click here.
