BBC World service 16th November Sixteen year old Sarah Thomas looks after her mother who has Multiple Sclerosis. Her father has serious arthritis and other disabling conditions so is not able to help around the house. As she is an only child, Sarah has taken on the full responsibility of caring for her mum. Sarah recently went to meet the British Prime Minister David Cameron to raise awareness of the growing number of children in her position.
