MS discussed in the Lords

Changes that affect people with multiple sclerosis will be address twice this week in the House of Lords.


On 2 February, Lord Walton of Detchant asked a question about the proportion of people with MS receiving disease-modifying drugs in the UK. The government health minister Earl Howe mentioned that more than 12,000 has received the drugs under the Risk-sharing Scheme but did note the lower than expected take up of the newer drug Tysabri.  Read more here.
