Please Help Save our Partners and Carers Club

As you know our Partners and Carers Club has been run jointly for many years by  Brenda Deller representing The Berkshire MS Therapy Centre and Heather Cresswell for the Reading and Wokingham Branch of the MS Society. Brenda organises each monthly meeting, while Heather manages the admin. Time marches on and Brenda would now like someone to help her and possibly eventually take over the planning  of our meetings.
This would involve arranging visits each month to caf├ęs, restaurants or places of interest that have a place to eat, as we find it is much easier to talk when you are eating and relaxed. We are funded by Reading and Wokingham Borough Councils, so all meals are free.

Please do think hard about whether you would like to help. It would be very sad if after all these years the Club had to be discontinued.  If you can help please email  Thank you!

Research Study on MS patients taking Rebif

Anyone interested in participating?

"Dear Sir/Madam

I am writing in the hope that you might be able to assist us.Field Scope International a market research company is currently organizing a paid market research study with Multiple Sclerosis patients. We are specifically looking to speak to patients that were taking Rebif but have stopped taking Rebif in the last 18 months. The study is designed to gain an insight with the patients experience with the condition and the treatments they are on, more specifically we are to ask them the following points:

1.      Ask them about their Multiple Sclerosis

2.      Their experience of using the drug Rebif
We are looking to invite patients that are between the ages of 21 to 84. I was hoping that you might be able to assist us by referring us to any patients who would be interested. We are not asking you to forward us the patients details but rather you passing our contact details to the patients and they can get in touch with us.

The sessions are being scheduled as a telephone interview from Monday 7th March to Friday 11th April. The session will last for 15 minutes and we are offering an incentive of £20 for the patients time and opinions. We are able to schedule the interviews anytime between 9.00am to 6.00 pm.

Should you be interested to assist us or simply want more information you can contact us on 01707 566 040 alternatively you can email I look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Kind Regards
