Thank you to all of our Reading Half Runners and Volunteers!

Thank you to all of our wonderful runners and volunteers for your help and support at this year's Reading Half Marathon.

This year we had 44 runners taking part in both the Reading Half Marathon and Green Park Challenge.  The wonderful Gregg Burgess-Salisbury took part using a wheelchair and is pictured walking accross the finishing line with his team mates Alan Cooke and Darren Pitt.

Our volunteers had the important job of manning a water station at the 6 mile mark, helping to keep the 18,000 runners hydrated and give them encouragement as they passed.  An excellent cheering point for Team BMSTC!

This was our new Fundraiser Sam's first event, and Jackie Malcolm's last - both did a fantastic job for BMSTC - thank you!

Thank you all for your time and efforts and we look forward to announcing the grand total raised in due course.

Salt: no great shakes for your health

Refurb update 6

The coffee point in reception will be installed today, 24th March.

The inside of the chamber will be painted this Thursday and Friday, 26th and 27th March.  Oxygen therapy has been cancelled for these two days and we hope the paint smell will have subsided sufficiently to run the Saturday 28th March sessions.

The wet room off the gym and WC next to the counselling room have been stripped out and will be installed and ready to use by the middle of next week, 1st April.  The 2 WC's by the kitchen will then be stripped out and replaced, hopefully ready for use by 10th April.

The flooring in the main reception area, office and oxygen room will be the last major work to take place.  It is likely that we will need to close the Centre whilst this work takes place.  We will give you as much advance warning as possible.  We are delighted that this will be the only time during the refurbishment that we have had to close the Centre, and we have done our very best to reduce cancellations to therapies.

Once again thanks for your patience and understanding with the chaos, disruption and noise.  The end is finally in sight!

Stop Press!! - Refurbishment update 5 - Physio Gym Closure Tuesday 17th to 20th March!

The date has been brought forward by a day to replace the gym floor.   All physiotherapy is cancelled from Tuesday 17th to Friday 20th March 2015.

We will be open for a limited service for Oxygen Therapy, Counselling, Acupuncture, Spinal Reflexology and Reiki during this time.

There will be a full closure announced for when the flooring in the reception area and office is replaced.  This will be one of the final stages of the refurbishment and is likely to be in April.  We will give you as much notice as we can.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
